ProAC Strengthens Global Ties at LG HVAC CONNECT ASIA 2026 in Seoul

SEOUL, SOUTH KOREA – In a significant move to bolster its technical expertise and regional leadership, ProAC was honored to participate in the LG HVAC CONNECT ASIA 2026, held from April 13–16 in Seoul.

Representing ProAC and the Maldives’ growing MEP sector, our Sales and Operations Director, Abdulla Wasif, joined over 70 top-tier industry leaders from 15 countries to explore the future of climate control and integrated building systems.

A Focus on AI and Sustainability

The event, hosted by LG Electronics, focused on “Affectionate Intelligence”—the integration of AI into HVAC systems to drive unprecedented energy efficiency. Key highlights included:

  • The Multi V™ 5 Pro2: A revolutionary outdoor unit that uses AI Smart Care and Energy Management to reduce energy consumption by up to 60%.
  • Data Center Cooling Solutions: Specialized technologies designed for high-demand infrastructure, a growing need in the Maldives’ digital landscape.
  • Regional Best Practices: Insights into centralized monitoring platforms (BECON) that allow for seamless management of multiple building sites.

Knowledge Exchange & Implementation

For ProAC, this was more than a conference; it was a mission to bring world-class knowledge back to the Maldives. Abdulla Wasif participated in dedicated technical tracks and on-site visits to LG’s flagship chiller factory in Pyeongtaek.
